Description

The domestic hen, a galliform bird, lays eggs every day when the seasons are not marked, whether or not there's a rooster around. After incubating the eggs for around 21 days, the chicks are born! They are then raised by their mother until they are 3 months old, before continuing their development as siblings until they reach adulthood.
