Description

The Discovery X-Ray Delta One is a manned deep space exploration spacecraft sent to investigate a mysterious monolithic object discovered in orbit around Jupiter. A gaseous nuclear fission plasma reactor powers the engine, which is separated from the spherical crew module by a long spine. An onboard HAL9000 sentient computer controls the ship with assistance from two crew members. Moebius Models 1:350-scale styrene model kit of the Discovery is 17 inches long fully assembled. Kit includes display stand and features a hidden metal support rod for stability. Cement and paint are required for assembly (not included).
